Providing 400,000 Gallons for the Agricultural Season in North Kordofan

Government of North Kordofan state has committed to supporting the agricultural season that aims to cultivate 7 million acres and provide 400,000 gallons
The governor of North Kordofan, Abdelkhaliq Abdellatif Wadaat Allah, confirmed during the meeting of the Emergency Committee for the success of the agricultural season for the year 2024-2025 to discuss aspects related to providing the requirements of the agricultural season for this year according to the indicative plan prepared by the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources.
He affirmed his government’s interest in the success of the agricultural season and the efforts made to provide the requirements for the success of the agricultural process to encourage farmers wishing to farm.
He affirmed the need to double efforts to make this season a success. Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources, the Minister in Charge, Eng. Ibrahim Hamid Mohamed, explained that the committee reviewed the arrangements for agricultural inputs, represented by seeds for various agricultural crops, agricultural fuel, financing, guidance and forest afforestation, noting that his ministry is working in coordination with partners to provide everything that contributes to the success of the agricultural season and achieving high productivity, especially food security crops, revealing a plan for the Agricultural Bank regarding agricultural financing.
And that the ministry is focusing on the guidance aspect for farmers and encouraging them to use intermediate technology to benefit from it in raising productivity.
