Skriniar: Slovakia can tame the three lions

Milan Skriniar, the captain of the Slovak national team, confirmed that England is not going through the best period of play, before the two teams face off next Sunday, in the 16-leg final of Euro 2024. Skriniar revealed that he knows well the condition of his next opponent, especially since England has only won a match in the group stage, “England is full of big stars and has good players, but we watched some matches in the group and they have not yet reached their best level. This may be our chance to beat them, and if we play as a team, as we did in the qualifiers and group stage, I believe and hope that we can beat them and if Slovakia wins against England, I think it will be the best result for Slovakia in its history, and we can do it.” Skriniar said.
The Slovakian defender also considered that England has a lot of confidence in the individual skills of its players, because they know that they can end the match at any moment, and therefore he highlighted the importance of confronting these players through collective work.
