Complaints Imposing huge Fees on Traders and Business to register reports at the prosecution
Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
Traders complained about the Public Prosecution in Port Sudan imposing large fees of SDGs 10,500 on traders and business owners, company owners and business names, to request an interview with the prosecution to open a report on their stolen vehicles and properties that were seized by the Rapid Support RSF Militia and others.
These fees were also imposed when adding any request to the open report of theft, whether it was adding an accused, reviewing, or other.
Traders appealed via (Sudan Events )
to the Attorney General, Mawlana Yassir Bukhari, to review the high fees and issue a decision that the report on shops and vehicles be free of charge without fees in appreciation of the situation after they were harmed by the ongoing looting and theft operations, and to cancel the fees for opening reports in these difficult situations.
