The French national team is preparing to face its Belgian counterpart on Monday, at the Spiel Arena, in the quarter-finals of the European Nations Cup “Euro 2024” held in Germany. Both teams are seeking to achieve victory, and move forward towards snatching the qualification ticket to the quarter-finals by facing the winner of the match between Portugal and Slovenia. The chances of both sides of this confrontation are equal, although the French possesses a significant striking force in its attacking line with the presence of Kylian Mbappe, but Belgium also possesses powerful weapons in more than one position in the presence of its captain Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku. France is looking to compensate for its early exit from the 16th final of the last edition was against Switzerland on penalties, in a match during which Kylian Mbappe missed the fifth kick. On the other hand, the Belgian is looking forward to victory and revenge for the 2018 World Cup semi-final defeat in Russia, when France reached the final with an Umtiti goal and won the title.
