Directives to monitor and limit Foreign Presence in Kassala

Acting governor of Kassala, Maj.Gen.(Rtd)Al-Sadig Mohamed Al-Azraq, issued a decision to form the state committee to monitor and limit foreign presence, headed by the Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources, the acting minister, and the Director of the Passports Department as a member and rapporteur.
The decision specified the tasks and responsibilities of the committee in following up on the implementation of the recommendations of the workshop to control foreign presence and review identity in the state and coordinating with the committee to implement the recommendations of the workshop at the Ministry of Interior, addition to re-establishing an action plan to control foreign presence in the state in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Interior, provided that the committee submits a periodic report on its work to the governor of the state and seeks the assistance of whomever it deems appropriate to perform its tasks.
