Distribution of Cash Social Support to 66,000 Families

Savings and Social Development Bank completed the distribution of the second batch of direct cash social support programs to more than 66,000 families in all stable states, including Khartoum state, Karari Locality.
The committee supervising the distribution of direct cash support reviewed the report of the bank’s branch in Gedarif for nearly 6,000 families in the state’s nine localities.
Director of the Payment Systems and Electronic Services Department at the bank, Ahmed Bahr, said that the bank pays direct cash support to the targeted families despite the war conditions that the country is going through in a number of safe states, drawing on his long experience in this field, noting that the bank has continued to pay direct cash support to more than 66,000 poor families in the stable states.
He pointed out that the committee held meetings in the states of White Nile and Sennar in the past days in the presence of the Director of Development and the Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Security Commission.
Meanwhile, the Direct Cash Support Committee held a meeting on Sunday at the bank’s branch in Gedaref to discuss ways to deliver support to all targeted families in all the state’s localities.
Deputy Commissioner of the Social Security, Solidarity and Poverty Reduction Commission at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Mohamed Al-Mahdi, appreciated the bank’s efforts in making the project a success through the bank’s great capabilities in the field of social banking work.
