Oil Minister Reveals to (Sudan Events ) New I Information about Balila Oil Field Fire

Minister of Oil and Energy, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naiem, revealed new information about the lightning that struck the Balila oil field “Friday”.
The minister told (Sudan Events ) that the lightning struck the “FPF” station in “Moga” field affiliated with “PetroEnergy” company, and indicated that it only struck the light crude warehouse, but the rest of the “tanks” in the same station were intact. He said that what happened had nothing to do with the wells, and confirmed that the damage was limited.
He added that the lightning was during the rain, but he said that the field had originally stopped production and there was no “open bloofa” and no engineers, and he continued, “There are only guards, which means that there were no human losses.
