After SAF took Control on Doha Neighbourhood

Um Badah begins the phase of returning spirit and Population after a long Suffering

Report – Amir Abdel Majid

Some people make their own comparisons or even their own theories to evaluate the situation on the ground in Omdurman or Bahri or other cities and states of Sudan according to the angle from which they see things, but the truth remains the constant between the theories and evaluations of this and that, and the truth is that Omdurman before the liberation of the Radio and TV buildings and their surroundings is different from Omdurman today after the army extended its control over the area and opened the way for the Khartoum state government to restore services in preparation for the expected return of the residents at least to inspect their homes, most of which have nothing left but the walls after the Rapid Support RSF Militia and its affiliates of “Niggers” and thieves looted almost everything in these homes, from cars to ceramics and water tanks, all of which were looted.
Military operations :

With the SAF moving est and entering the Um Badah areas, we began to witness daily military operations, and the residents of the revolutionary areas near Um Badah began to listen daily to the sounds of explosions and warplanes that move daily in the area and bombard the Rapid Support Forces RSF gatherings there, while strictly adhering to military controls that stress the necessity of not letting the fire reach civilian gatherings and injure the residents, because the Um Badah area is still crowded with a significant number of residents who have barricaded themselves in it and refused to leave it despite the great risks they have experienced and are still suffering from.
With the SAF entering the Doha neighborhood, which was the starting point for militia operations against the military engineers base and the large gathering point for the Rapid Support Forces RSF leaders in the south and west of Omdurman, where all the Rapid Support Forces RSF leaders who manage the operations are located in the Doha neighborhood, the area was the center for arrests, recruitment, and marches, and an important center for transporting supplies arriving from Darfur heading to the Radio and TV headquarters, which was the command center of Omdurman, and from there via Shambat Bridge to Bahri and from there to the east of the Nile.
The militia that took control of Wad al-Bashir Bridge, which is an important and fundamental entrance to Omdurman and connects all the important roads since the beginning of the war, was entrenched a few meters away from it, where sniper teams were deployed on the roofs of the buildings in Doha neighborhood, which had been transformed into military barracks.
Therefore, the militia defended it strongly and fought a battle no less than the battle of the Radio because it realized that losing a site like the Doha neighborhood would pave the way for the army and open the Omdurman area completely to it.
Eliminate an obstacle :

Brig.Gen.(Rtd) Al-Sir Al-Yaqoubi says that the SAF has now gotten rid of a very big obstacle that may have hindered its advance into the depths of Omdurman during the past period because the militia was using the important geographical location of the Doha neighborhood as a killing area in which it hunted down any attacking forces trying to enter Omdurman after deploying dozens of snipers on the roofs of the neighborhood’s buildings.
He added, “They were shocked because the defenses collapsed quickly and the army was able to neutralize the snipers’ fire and enter the area that they considered fortified and wreaked havoc in it and displaced its people.”
He continued, “The road is now open to the rest of Omdurman’s neighborhoods because the SAF’ control only over Wad Al-Bashir Bridge, which is what happened during the past stage without deploying inside the area, is not enough. I believe that liberating the Doha neighborhood and the army’s entry into Al-Sabil and Al-Ridmiya and its direction into the Libya and Karur markets will create a new equation in western Omdurman and even in Khartoum, to which forces are moving from Omdurman and entering it through Jebel Awliya in what is known as the “fright.” He said, “The army now has a large area in front of it that must.
Packing his belongings :

Adel Hamad Nourin, a citizen who was late in leaving Um Badah and recently left it after being shot, said, “This is good news because entering a key neighborhood like Doha reduces the burden on the SAF because controlling Doha means distancing them from AlMuhandsin Base and the old areas of Omdurman and means that the air force can now strike and hurt them because most of Um Badah areas are now exposed to the air force and drones and the support cannot now hide and escape from the army’s artillery and planes.”
He said, “We know that our homes have been looted and there is perhaps no longer even a chair to sit on, but in the end these are our homes and houses and we will not give them up. I believe that with the army’s entry into Al-Wadiha Street and Doha neighborhood, we are close to packing our belongings and returning to our homes because the road is now open for the Special Forces, the Security and Intelligence Service and the Bara Battalion to extend their control over Um Badah, which has tasted misery at the hands of this criminal militia.”
