Complaints due to the lack of Services in Port Sudan

Citizens in Port Sudan city in the Red Sea state complained from the deterioration of living situations , poor and lack of services, and the spread of poverty and waste, in light of what they described as the failure of the state authorities to provide the simplest necessities of life, which turned the city into a repellent and uninhabitable place, and many left because of this to other states.
Citizens in the city said that the electricity problem has not been addressed and is getting worse day after day, and the outages in one day reach 12 hours with the rise in temperatures.
They explained that there is also a major problem in providing water, and they feared the spread of diseases and fevers in light of the poor environment and the spread of waste without any significant government intervention.
Many citizens affirmed that the situation requires urgent intervention from the government or at least from community components and civil society organizations to save the city, indicating that there are those who left to other cities in light of the difficult living conditions and fear of moving between states due to the war.
