Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, revealed the locality’s plan for transporting neighborhood waste.
Khaled said that his locality worked to introduce the experience of transporting waste by quick communication via phone to drivers of waste transport vehicles, which in turn arrive immediately after the call and transport it to the landfill.
The Executive Director directed, while visiting the main drains in Shendi City to monitor the waste transport operations that were removed from the drains, the Waste Management Department was directed to tighten control over the implementation of the express service program for transporting waste.
The Executive Director called on all citizens to adhere to and cooperate with the locality to make the project a success and not to throw waste on the roads and to immediately report it to be transported quickly and civilized.
