The Arab League Discusses with a Sudanese delegation important economic issues for Sudan’s development

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Economic Unity of the League of Arab States
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharif met in his office in Cairo with Maj.Gen.Abdel-Rahman Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, CEO of the Union of Arab Exporters and Importers – Sudan Office.
The meeting discussed a number of important economic issues for Sudan’s development in light of the war crisis.
Maj.Gen.Abdel-Rahman Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi appreciated the Assistant Secretary-General Ahmed Al-Sharif, who assumed the position after the late Mariam Al-Imam, preserving Sudan’s name in the Council of Arab Economic Unity.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ahmed Al-Sharif held several positions in Sudan, the most important of which were at the Ministry of International Cooperation, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Finance, and the head of the partnership sector at the Ministry of Finance.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahim Ali, CEO of the Union of Arab Exporters and Importers, praised Ahmed Al-Sharif, saying that he is an honor for Sudan and deserves all appreciation.
