The French Federation renews confidence in Deschamps despite his farewell to Euro 2024

The French Football Federation revealed its position on French coach Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, following the Roosters’ loss to Spain in the semi-finals of Euro 2024.
“Deschamps will continue until the 2026 World Cup finals. We presented a positive tournament in general despite the bitterness of the exit and defeat at the hands of Spain. Deschamps has a contract with us, in addition to achieving our goal in Euro 2024, which is to reach the Semi-finals.. Deschamps’ career as a coach with the French national team is very ideal. He achieved championships with the Roosters and the team was showing in the best possible way during Euro 2024. The previous results he achieved with us speak for themselves. He has always achieved our goals. Didier will continue his career with us… and there will be a meeting with him to talk about the challenges ahead, and what happened in the recent period, especially in the European Nations Cup.” Philippe Diallo, President of the French Football Federation, announced Deschamps’ fate.
