Sudan Events – Follow-ups
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned of rain, floods and torrents hitting Sudan in the coming days.
OCHA said that torrents and floods were observed in Sudan, as heavy rains in Sinja reached 14 mm.
More heavy rains are expected in areas in southern Sudan during the period from July 10 to 17, which may lead to floods.
It recommended that citizens say, “Stay safe and take the necessary precautions.”
