Shendi.. Transfer of buses and coaches to the new land port

The Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, Head of the Security Committee, witnessed the work at the new land port and the transfer of buses and coaches to Shendi Land Port north of Al-Dharra Hospital, in the presence of the Security Committee, the Director General of Eng. Affairs, and the supervisor of organizing and arranging the site and the travel bus room.
The Executive Director said that the new land port contributes to relieving congestion and reducing traffic congestion within the city, as well as tightening control over internal parking lots and monitoring them to control dormant cells and foreign presence, in addition to organizing and controlling the movements of travel vehicles and relieving pressure on internal parking lots.
Khaled affirmed the readiness of the locality to provide all services to travelers and provide them with comfort, and directed the security and police agencies to prevent vehicles from parking outside the port and intensify control over entry and exit movement, particularly since the locality is carrying out major campaigns to remove negative phenomena and violations that pose a security threat to citizens, in addition to the major campaigns led by the locality to arrest dormant cells.
The local police director, Brig. of Police Ezz El-Din Mohamed Idris, directed the police forces to raise the security awareness of the citizen and arrest the sleeping cells, stressing the readiness of the security forces to confront any attempt of treachery or betrayal.
While the head of organization and arrangement at the land port, Dr. Rasha Ali Mohamed Khair, affirmed the readiness of the locality to provide all services, and said that this port is a real addition to the locality.
While the representative of the travel buses chamber expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Shendi locality for its keenness to establish the land port, praising the great role of the security and police forces and their keenness on the security and stability of the locality.
