Lamine Yamal, a player for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, looks towards the legacy of the Argentine star Lionel Messi. The Catalan national team asked the Barcelona duo, Pau Kubarsi and Yamal, for a publicity photo, in preparation for the players joining the ranks of the team. It is expected that the duo will choose to appear with the same shirt number with Barcelona, where Kubarsi appeared wearing the number 33 shirt, while Yamal chose the number 10 shirt.
Yamal appeared for the first time with Barcelona in the 2022-2023 season, wearing the number 41 shirt, while last season he played in the number 27 shirt.
It is noteworthy that Messi left Barcelona in the summer of 2021, and Ansu Fati followed him in wearing the number 10 shirt for two seasons before loaning him to Brighton last season.
