King Salman Center supports the IDPs of Sennar, Kassala

King Salman Center for Relief announced its support for those affected by the war by providing 107 ,000 bags of flour to the displaced people in Kassala State through successive batches, while 20,000 bags were distributed to employees and workers as a first batch and 17,000 bags as a second batch.
Kassala Governor, Maj, Gen. Al-Sadiq Al-Azraq, praised the continuous support of King Salman Center, and expressed his appreciation for the strong stand of the Kassala community with the displaced.
He said during the delivery of 20,000 bags of flour to the localities to distribute to those affected by the war coming from Sennar, thanks to the solidarity, the state was able to receive a large number of displaced people, and stressed that the Humanitarian Aid Commission is of interest to them due to the roles it plays.
For his part, the Minister of Finance in Kassala state, Musa Oshik, revealed that the total amount of flour donated by the King Salman Center for Relief amounts to 107,000 bags, explaining that the first batch was 20,000 bags for employees and workers, and the second batch was 17,000 bags, and he said that the quantity that was delivered on Saturday to officials in the localities designated for those affected by the war in Sennar amounts to 20,000 bags, announcing that the remaining quantity will arrive in the coming period, expressing his appreciation to the King Salman Center.
The Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Kassala State, Idris Waraab, indicated that support for the displaced affected by the war in Sennar took a number of forms, including central kitchens, and said that the number of displaced sites in the state amounts to
357 sites, and called on the displaced to integrate into society and work to provide a livelihood, praising the Kassala community, which affirmed that it has been the first to do good.
