Giad prepares to rebuild Khartoum Facilities

Giad Company announced its intention to open a branch in Khartoum state to contribute to the reconstruction with full readiness to work with Khartoum state in providing school furniture, seating and hospital needs within Khartoum state without the need to bring them from outside the state Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, affirmed that the partnership with Giad enhances the state’s efforts in rebuilding the facilities that were looted and destroyed by the rebel militia.
He said during his meeting with Giad Company delegation that the cooperation between Khartoum state and the Defense Industries Group, under which Giad Company is affiliated, is an old cooperation that has resulted in the implementation of many projects in the fields of health, education, hygiene, electricity and others, adding that Giad branch in Omdurman will work to reduce the cost of the needs required for reconstruction. Director General of Education said that all stages of education were subjected to systematic looting that affected school seating and teachers’ seating, so the need for school furniture remains great, especially when studies return in full.
Director General of Health said that the militia destroyed and looted the furniture of hospitals and health centers,particularly in Old Omdurman, and with the increasing pressure on the hospitals operating now, this requires providing the needs of the hospitals, especially furniture, urgently.
