Shikan adds War Damages to the Insurance Policy

Shikan Insurance and Reinsurance Company is moving to amend the insurance policy to include damages resulting from war and life insurance for workers in service facilities during the war period, while announcing the opening of its main branch in Omdurman.
Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, affirmed the state’s encouragement of all institutions to resume their activities in a way that enhances the return of life to normal, affirming the importance of not resorting to war and stopping activities.
The governor appreciated Shikan’s desire to contribute to the rehabilitation of service facilities in the fields of water, health and education during his meeting with the company’s delegation.
In addition, the Shikan delegation revealed the company’s intention to amend the insurance policy to include damages resulting from war and life insurance for employees in service facilities during the war period, stressing that the company’s step comes within the framework of supporting Khartoum state’s efforts to rebuild and provide services to citizens.
