Kassala: Fuel Prices are determined Centrally

Kassala state Government disavowed the increase in fuel prices.
Director General of the Transport and Petroleum Administration, Mahmoud Ismail, explained in press statements that fuel prices are determined centrally based on an agreement between the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Oil and the importing companies, and then the states add transportation costs to the central price, noting that the recent increases included all states based on global fuel prices.
He affirmed the availability of petroleum products in large quantities in all localities of the state.
Kassala government announced that the fuel prices approved last Sunday amounted to SDGs 2715per liter of gasoline and SDGs 2645 per liter of diesel.
