Acting Ambassador of Sudan to Tehran affirmed the importance of activating diplomatic and economic relations between Sudan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly after Sudan restored its diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and reopened the Sudanese embassy in Tehran.
He said in a statement to “Sudan Events ” that Iranian companies have extensive and accumulated experience in the fields of building roads, bridges and airports, and with this experience they can enter the competition arena in the reconstruction race in Sudan.
He added that since Sudan has adopted partnerships as an approach to dealing and interacting with countries, so that giant companies with high experience come and build a large project in Sudan, then operate and manage it, and in the end, after extracting their rights and what they paid to build the project and achieve appropriate profits, they transfer ownership of the project to the Sudanese government in what is known as build, operate and transfer, abbreviated as the BOT system.
