Bringing Fertilisers and Seeds to Gezira Scheme

Governor of the Gezira Scheme , Ibrahim Mustafa, announced the success of the agricultural season in Gezira despite the destruction of all agricultural machinery in the Gezira scheme by the rebel Rapid Support RSF Militia, and revealed the destruction of all seeds and production inputs.
He said during his meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the Darfur Regional Government that the scheme management is working to produce seeds and all agricultural inputs in the scheme in a short time and that the government is currently starting to bring seeds and fertilizers to make the season a success and that the war is now at its end.
The Governor of the Gezira scheme affirmed the training of cadres working in the field of agriculture.
For his part, the Minister of Agriculture in the Darfur Regional Government, Salah Al-Wali, affirmed the importance of the success of the agricultural season in Sudan and that Darfur depends on seasonal agriculture and the state must pay attention to agriculture because it represents the main output addition to bringing modern agricultural inputs and training farmers on mechanized agriculture in the near future.
