He pointed out that Qatar’s role in Sudan is important because it deals with Sudan without an agenda and works for its interest, and he said, “We witness that even in the current crisis, Qatar remained the only country that built an air bridge to transport humanitarian aid to the Sudanese affected by the war,” and he stressed that the role played by Qatar is great and that the Sudanese hope to increase it, especially since Qatar has great experiences in resolving conflicts, and he added, “We will continue to owe Qatar, especially the people of Darfur, a lot because their intervention in the Darfur issue was positive and the people of Darfur saw with their own eyes what Qatar provided in terms of development projects and great appreciated effort that ultimately led to the establishment of security and peace in Darfur before the war ravaged security and national peace in Sudan,” and he said, “At the level of Sudan, Qatar continued to provide assistance in various development fields.”

He pointed out that Qatar is known for its bias towards Sudan and providing it with a helping hand in various crises, and that it is a pioneer in supporting Sudan.
Sudanese Hope :
Because of the continuous efforts and its prominent role in helping to end crises and wars in several regions of the world, including Sudan, and its sponsorship of peace agreements in Darfur in 2011, 2013 and 2017, and its contribution to the border development agreement between Sudan and Eritrea in 2007 to prevent conflict between them, the State of Qatar is highly appreciated by successive Sudanese governments, and based on its previous roles, the Sudanese hope that it will continue to play positive roles towards the country’s crisis until peace is achieved in Sudan.
