The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to submit the official candidacy file to host the 2034 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia has submitted the official candidacy file to host the World Cup to the International Federation of Association Football, which includes all the details of hosting, the tournament stadiums, and the cities hosting the World Cup.
The Saudi Football Federation announced on March 1st the launch of its campaign to host the World Cup for the first time in 2034. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hopes to become the first country to host the World Cup, in which 48 teams participate in one country, as it welcomes teams from six continental federations. The next World Cup will be held in 2026 with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament, and its competitions will be held in three countries: the United States, Mexico, and Canada. As for the 2030 World Cup, it will also be held in three countries: Spain, Morocco, and Portugal.
