Flick seeks Xavi to solve Barcelona’s crisis

Barcelona coach Hans Flick has decided to implement one of the ideas of former coach Xavi Hernandez in order to solve the crisis in Barca’s midfield, as Flick decided to use Andreas Christensen as a defensive midfielder in the new season, in order to address the numerical shortage in this line.
Barcelona is suffering from the loss of Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong in midfield due to injuries.
Xavi had decided to try Christensen as a defensive midfielder last season, at the suggestion of Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director.
