Al-Atta: Al-Burhan plans to Manage Military Operations from Omdurman

Member of the Sovereignty Council TSC , Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the SAF, Lt.Gen.Yassir Al-Atta, revealed on Tuesday the intention of the President of the Sovereignty Council TSC, Commander-in-Chief of the SAF,Lt.Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to lead military operations from Omdurman.
Al-Atta said,before a crowd of soldiers in the Omdurman Military Area that “Al-Burhan requested that a headquarters be prepared for him here, so that he can come and lead the operations himself, and it has been prepared.”
He pointed out that the SAF commanders, including Al-Burhan and Kabashi, do not want to rule the country while they have a strong will to fight the Rapid Support Forces RSF for 100 years.
Al-Atta renewed his accusation of the Forces of Freedom and Change of igniting the war by pushing the Rapid Support Forces RSF to take power, so that it would be a political base for him.
He affirmed that the war broke out when the Rapid Support Forces RSF opened up at Marawi Air Base in northern Sudan on April 13, 2023, and began besieging military headquarters inside Khartoum.
Al-Atta affirmed that the war was imposed on the Sudanese army SAF and people and targeted them and their capabilities, and we will fight until the last militia.
