Promoting Normalization
Amjad Farid
The current media campaign that we are witnessing from the mouthpieces of the choir, which is trying to promote normalization with the Rapid Support Forces RSF occupying citizens’ homes, before the Geneva talks, is another indicator of the extent of this choir’s degradation in defending their masters and implementing the sponsor’s instructions, even if it was through blatant lies.
The deception campaign was based primarily on denying that the Jeddah Declaration, which was signed on May 12, 2023, contained a clause stipulating the evacuation of civilians’ homes occupied by the militia. This campaign was launched in an organized and highly coordinated manner, with the participation of senior journalists and politicians who are members of the choir, addition to the mouthpieces of the choir and the militia.
This is an eloquent lie that the choir is not ashamed to repeat while shedding its face on the altars of what Daglo family and the Emirati sponsor pay them.
Clause (2-C) clearly states (taking all possible precautions to avoid and minimize harm to civilians, aiming to evacuate urban centers including civilian homes, for example civilians should not be used as human shields.) While Clause (2-G) states (commitment to evacuate, refrain from seizing, respect and protect all private and public facilities such as medical facilities, hospitals, water and electricity facilities, and refrain from using them for military purposes.)
The text of the agreement published by the official Saudi Press Agency is here for those who wish to review it (rb.gy/rsgug7)
Apart from all this, what justifies the militia in the first place occupying people’s homes, expelling them from them, and forcing them to be displaced, displaced and seek refuge?
And how does the choir of the weak find it within itself to try to rule our people, while it defends and tries to justify the displacement of our people from their homes, the looting of their property and savings, and the suffering of their lives. What madness is this that a criminal gang violates the sanctity of people’s homes, expels them from them, and occupies them, and then a group of politicians rush to justify this occupation and displacement and defend it and its continuation?
There is no clarity more than mentioning the direct evacuation of civilians’ homes, evacuation and abstention from private facilities as well.
This is something that the choir of the lowly cannot claim that they did not read in the text of the agreement, but the choir is trying to exploit and harness symbolic capital that it thinks it still possesses from the December revolution to serve the goals of the militia, without realizing that the revolution was carried out by the people and for the rights of the people and to defend their interests, and it will never be right to harness it to defend the occupation of their homes, their displacement, looting, killing and raping them.
The revolution erupted in the face of tyranny and triumphed for the sake of normal life in Sudan, and the militia that you are allied with is practicing tyranny and fascism that is incompatible with this normal life.
