Washington: We Are Making Efforts to Implement the Jeddah Declaration

The US Special Envoy to Sudan, Tom Perriello, stated that they are making strenuous efforts to implement the Jeddah Declaration, ceasefire, and deliver humanitarian aid as soon as possible.

According to Al Jazeera, Perriello added, “We have teams that can help deliver aid in Sudan as soon as possible.” He also mentioned promises of one billion dollars in aid for Sudan and that they are seeking more, highlighting the importance of a ceasefire.
