The Secretary-General of the National Council for Medicines and Poisons, Dr. Ali Babiker, held a meeting with the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Mohamed Osman, and officials at the bank at the Bank of Sudan’s headquarters in Port Sudan.
Ali emphasized that the meeting discussed financing issues for importing medicines, exchange rates, and networking between the National Council for Medicines and Poisons and the Bank of Sudan. He praised the positive spirit of the meeting and the ongoing significant interaction of the Central Bank of Sudan with medicinal and general health issues.
On his part, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Mohamed Osman, pointed to specific arrangements that will soon be announced through the strategic commodity portfolio, which aims to stabilize and support medicinal abundance in the country.
He directed efforts to intensify networking with the National Council for Medicines and Poisons.
