Egyptian-Sudanese group proposes vision for establishing a free zone in Oseif

The Egyptian-Sudanese Economic Integration Group has proposed a comprehensive vision to establish a free zone in Oseif to facilitate trade exchange between Sudan and Egypt.
Hassan Kamal El Din Waqi’ Allah, the group’s managing director, emphasized the need to expedite the implementation of the Sudanese product exchange.
During a meeting of the group in Cairo on Saturday, he announced a number of joint projects that will serve both countries in the coming period.
The meeting discussed how to benefit from the proximity between the two countries in trade exchange activities.
The meeting also addressed the necessity of coordinating the Sudanese side with the Egyptian side in facilitating trade exchanges, especially in medicines and food.
Waqi’ Allah stressed the importance of completing the procedures of previous agreements and coordinating partnerships between Sudanese and Egyptian companies, working in full harmony for the benefit of both nations.
He emphasized the need to intensify efforts to provide all urgent supplies needed by the Sudanese people according to quality standards, confirming the support of the group’s board of directors and specialized departments for efforts that push forward the interests of both countries’ peoples.
