Sudan Events – Reports
Member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, stated that Sudan is considered a country of great economic value, especially along the Red Sea coast, where Sudan’s coastline stretches over vast areas.
Speaking at the Coral Hotel on Sunday during a baseline workshop organized by the Border Commission with significant participation from specialists, Jaber highlighted that among the economic attractions of Sudan along the Red Sea coast are tourism and medical tourism. He mentioned that Sanganeb Island, which has significant economic value and is known globally, represents a vital tourism dimension.
He emphasized the importance of establishing a database in the current circumstances, noting that the workshop was crucial as it brought together experts who would produce valuable material to guide Sudan’s economic direction.
Jaber also stressed the importance of training technical staff within ports, the navy, scouts, and related entities to create a generation that values these issues.
