Resumption of Exporters and Importers Registration Procedures in Gedaref

The Commissioner of Trade in Gedaref State, Hassan Mohamed Ali Abu Awf, confirmed that their office has resumed completing the registration procedures for exporters and importers, along with carrying out border trade tasks and implementing all signed agreements in this regard.
During his meeting with Major General Ihab Hassan Saleh, Director-General of the General Administration of Trade and Supply Investigations, at his office in Gedaref, Abu Awf provided a detailed briefing on the office’s tasks and responsibilities, which include reducing administrative delays and speeding up customer procedures without the need to refer to the Federal Ministry of Trade. He mentioned that the ministry had granted them full authorization to carry out their duties and responsibilities.
He confirmed that many meetings were held with relevant entities to expedite the process of networking between the central and state offices, commercial banks, and customs to implement the electronic contract for border trade and the registration of exporters and importers.
He also emphasized the essential role of the Trade and Supply Investigations Administration.
