Ilkay Gündogan’s Possible Exit from Barcelona Is Heating Up
Sudan Events – Agencies
Ilkay Gündogan’s future continues to be a topic of discussion at Barcelona and remains far from resolved.
According to reports from the Arab press, the Catalan club is currently in talks with Al-Nassr, the club of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona’s aim is to reach an agreement with the Saudi club for the transfer of the German international before the market closes to secure some financial return.
This deal, of course, would require Gündogan’s approval. His final decision may be influenced by the role that Hansi Flick has planned for him this season.
According to Sport newspaper, the German international has doubts about his future at Barcelona, as he is not expected to be a starter under Hansi Flick.
The midfielder has even considered a possible return to Manchester City, though this is seen as a complex option.
He also has an offer from Turkish club Galatasaray, the reigning Süper Lig champion, which can be seen and enjoyed on beIN SPORTS.
Gündogan has one year remaining on his contract with Barcelona, plus an optional year. His salary increases in this, his second season, and if he does leave, the club would free up salary space to maneuver more effectively in the closing of the market.
