Sovereignty Council Member: Our Priority in the Next Phase is to Establish Security and Stability

Abdullah Yahya Ahmed Hussein was sworn in as a member of the Sovereignty Council representing the Sudan Liberation Forces after taking the oath in front of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
In a press statement after taking the oath, Sovereignty Council member Abdullah Yahya praised the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, the Popular Resistance, and the mobilized forces for their resilience and defense of Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the battle of dignity.
He expressed his gratitude to Al-Burhan for the trust placed in him and pledged to work with his colleagues in the Sovereignty Council to provide the best service to the citizens and safeguard their interests. He said, “The priority in the next phase is to establish security and stability, and to ensure the return of displaced people and refugees to their villages and areas.”
