Earthquake of Magnitude 3.5 Hits Northeastern Kuwait

The Kuwaiti Seismological Network, part of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, recorded today an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale in northeastern Kuwait.
The network explained in a statement that the earthquake occurred at 4:46 PM today, Kuwait time, at a depth of 6 kilometers beneath the surface.
The statement added that the network later recorded an aftershock at 6:33 PM in the same location, with a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale and at the same depth.
