Death Sentence Issued Against an RSF Militia Member

The General Criminal Court of Atbara, presided over by Judge Mohamed Osman, sentenced (S.Y.), one of the mobilized members of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF), to death by hanging after convicting him in the criminal case No. 2481/2024 under articles (26/51/50) filed by the Artillery Intelligence in Atbara. The Public Prosecution represented the accusation in court. Additionally, the Court of Combating Terrorism and Crimes Against the State sentenced (F.A.M.), a collaborator with the rebel RSF, to five years in prison after convicting him in case No. 1175/2024 under article (51/A). The Public Prosecution was represented in court by members of the Public Prosecution, Abdullah Ahmed Baballah, and Mohamed Ahmed Al-Tom.
