Military Commander: The Army is in Its Best Condition and the Rebellion is Fading

Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The second commander of the Third Infantry Division in Shendi, Major General Omar Al-Sir, confirmed that the armed forces are in their best condition and hold the initiative, asserting that the rebellion is fading. Major General Omar Al-Sir, speaking at the inauguration of Al-Tuhami Hospital in Shendi on Saturday, said that the Sudanese people will hear good news in the coming period. He pointed out that this war is not entirely negative or damaging and that it has brought about benefits, such as this significant medical facility that opens its doors today to serve the public. He noted that this war has opened investment opportunities in several states, which were previously exclusive to Khartoum state. He emphasized that the armed forces may need such services, especially in the context of the war, and that the hospital is a valuable addition to the existing healthcare institutions in Shendi and the Nile River state. He added that this hospital could become a destination for many seeking treatment, instead of going to Port Sudan and Merowe.
