31 Million Pounds Lost by North Kordofan Workers’ Union Due to War

The Workers’ Union of North Kordofan State discussed in its meeting the performance reports for the past period and the meetings held by the three officers with the state’s governor, the Secretary-General of the government, and several other state entities. The discussions focused on workers’ living conditions amid the complex circumstances faced by the state.

The union’s treasurer reported that the assets lost from the union’s headquarters due to the war amounted to more than 31 million pounds, while all assets and contents of the Teachers’ Professional Union and the Educational Workers’ Syndicate were looted.
