Death Sentence for Three Collaborators with the Militia

The Atbara General Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Mohamed Othman, sentenced three defendants to death by hanging as a punitive measure. The convicted individuals (A, N, M, A), (A, S, A), and (M, H, T) were found to be collaborators and associates of the rebel Rapid Support Forces.

The court convicted the defendants under criminal case numbers 2449/2024, 2480/2024, and 519/2024 according to articles 50 and 51 of the 1991 Sudanese Penal Code.

The prosecution was represented by the Public Prosecution before the court.
