The Sudanese army, along with the joint forces of the armed movements supporting it, has begun implementing strict security measures on the movement of people and trade in the border triangle between Sudan, Libya, and Egypt, in an effort to halt any supplies to the RSF militia.
Eyewitnesses reported to “Darfur 24” that the army and armed movement forces have tightened control over the border triangle for more than 50 kilometers in the northwest with Libya and the northeast with Egypt, establishing several military checkpoints where trucks are stopped, passengers disembarked, and documents and individuals thoroughly checked.
