Cuadrado remains in Italy to defend the colors of Atalanta

“After arriving in Italy 15 years ago (in 2009 with Udinese), Cuadrado has played 372 matches, scored 43 goals, and provided 66 assists in Serie A alone.” His career began with Udinese, including a loan spell at Lecce, before moving to Fiorentina, and then to Juventus in 2015 on loan, followed by a permanent transfer in 2017, and then to Inter, and now Atalanta.
The Colombian only left Italy once during this journey when he moved to the English Premier League to play for Chelsea at the start of 2015 with a four-and-a-half-year contract. However, he only stayed there for half a season as he returned to Italy in the summer of that year to defend Juventus’ colors on loan.
Atalanta, the reigning Europa League champion, started their Serie A campaign with a big 4-0 win over Lecce, but they fell in the second round to Torino, losing 2-1.
