Kuwait: Gang Arrested for Trafficking in Residencies
Sudan Events – Agencies
The General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations in Kuwait has arrested a gang of three suspects involved in trafficking residencies, forgery, and manipulation through cargo transport companies. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that the investigations showed that the suspects transferred the residencies of workers in the country to the company, and registered their personal vehicles with the aim of obtaining the largest possible number of vehicle movement permits, and presenting them to the relevant authorities to increase the estimate of the need, which enables the company to attract labor and issue Kuwaiti driving licenses in exchange for money to individuals who do not meet the conditions of the General Department of Traffic.
