Earthquake in Cairo Due to Construction Work

The National Institute of Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Egypt announced on Tuesday that it recorded an earthquake southeast of Cairo due to construction work. The tremor, measuring 2.0 on the Richter scale, occurred at 3:57 PM and was the result of construction activities 6 kilometers southeast of Cairo.
