Gadarif Receives Medical Equipment from King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center

Gadarif State received a number of medical devices and equipment provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, delivered by the official partner, Al-Kifayat Organization for Human Development Studies, to rehabilitate some emergency, intensive care, and surgery departments at Gadarif Teaching Hospital.

The Acting Governor of Gadarif, Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, praised the significant role of Saudi Arabia toward Sudan and Gadarif, especially in light of the current conditions facing the country and the state.

During his reception of the equipment at the government headquarters, attended by several officials, the governor said that the contributions of the King Salman Center and the Al-Kifayat Organization have helped address the shortage of medical equipment at Gadarif Hospital, which has seen an increase in the number of patients needing medical care due to Gadarif hosting those affected by the war from five states. He also highlighted the role of the donated medical equipment in enhancing local medical treatment programs.
