Northern State Welcomes Saudi and Gulf Investments

The governor of Northern State, Abdeen Awadallah, met on Wednesday with Saudi investor Misfer Al-Dossary in his office, in the presence of Omar Ali Saleh, the General Director of the Ministry of Investment and Industry in the state.

The governor was briefed on the facilities granted to the Saudi investor and the completion of his procedures for establishing a factory for canning vegetables and fruits in the Andalus Industrial City project, on a plot of land measuring two thousand square meters, in addition to investing in the agricultural sector.

The Saudi investor committed to completing the factory and agricultural project within six months.

For his part, the General Director of the Ministry of Investment and Industry in Northern State, according to the Sudan News Agency, pointed out that all facilities were granted to the Saudi investor for the import of factory machinery. He expected that the investments of Saudi investor Misfer Al-Dossary would be a source of support for the state’s economy by providing job opportunities for youth and implementing social responsibility projects.

He welcomed investments from friendly and brotherly countries, affirming the provision of all necessary facilities. He noted that industrial cities and areas planned in the state cover an area of ten million feddans.
