Launch of 1,000 Aid Baskets for Flood Victims in Al-Abidiya

The Ishraq Charity Organization has launched a relief convoy containing 1,000 baskets of food supplies for the flood-affected people in the Al-Abidiya area of Barbar locality in River Nile State. The event was attended by Maha Babiker Khalil, representative of the Social Affairs Department in the locality, and Issam Abu Al-Qasim, Coordinator of Humanitarian Aid.
Abdul Moneim Khalil, the convoy supervisor, emphasized that the humanitarian situation in the Al-Abidiya area requires concerted efforts from all philanthropists to assist the affected and provide help. He noted that the convoy, which includes various relief materials and shelter supplies such as tarps, is significant, targeting the flood victims in Al-Abidiya with 1,000 aid baskets containing food items like sugar, flour, lentils, oil, pasta, and rice. Khalil mentioned that there is also intervention and support from the King Salman Center through the executing body in the state, and that the Kuwaiti Revival of Islamic Heritage Society and the Bahraini Islamic Education Society made significant efforts in organizing the convoy and the humanitarian work for the flood victims.
