Mohammed bin Salman Calls Al-Sisi and Erdogan, Discusses Gaza Situation

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian territories with both Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Prince Mohammed bin Salman made a phone call to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which he stressed “the Kingdom’s keenness to unify Arab and Islamic efforts to support the Palestinian people in confronting the brutal aggression by Israeli occupation forces, and the need to intensify efforts to stop the ongoing Israeli attacks and violations against the Palestinian people,” according to SPA.
The official Turkish news agency Anadolu reported that Mohammed bin Salman and Erdogan discussed “the war that Israel is waging in the Palestinian territories,” according to a statement from the Turkish presidential communication office on Sunday. Erdogan emphasized “the importance of increasing international pressure on Israel due to the crimes it is committing in the Palestinian territories, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the need to stop Israeli attacks and human rights violations by Israel and achieve a permanent ceasefire, and the importance of joint action by Islamic countries,” according to Anadolu.
In addition, the Saudi Crown Prince made a phone call on Sunday to the Egyptian president, during which they discussed “the developments in the Palestinian territories.” Mohammed bin Salman stressed during the call “the need for all Arab and Islamic efforts to stop the escalation and continuous Israeli violations against the Palestinian people,” according to SPA.
