Police: 625 Vehicles Accounted for in Omdurman Awaiting Return to Owners

Khartoum State Traffic Police announced that they, in cooperation with local authorities and other security agencies, had accounted for 625 vehicles in Old Omdurman, with 266 of them collected and transported to the vehicle yard near the central police station in Omdurman.
The traffic police explained, according to the Sudan News Agency on Sunday, that the vehicles would be handed over to their owners after completing the necessary legal procedures through the Public Prosecution.
Colonel Salah Khair Adam, the Director of Operations at the Khartoum State Traffic Police Department, stated that the operation targeted disabled vehicles on streets, roads, and neighborhoods in Old Omdurman, restoring normal traffic flow in the area.
He also mentioned that the next phase of the operation would target neighborhoods in central Omdurman.
