Sudan Cotton Company Sends Convoy for Flood Victims in Tokar and Arbat

Sudan Cotton Company dispatched a convoy to support flood victims in the Tokar and Arbat regions, containing various food items with an estimated cost of 50 million Sudanese pounds.
The Governor of the Red Sea State, Major General Mustafa Mahmoud, described what happened in Tokar and Arbat as a natural and real disaster. He stated during the launch of the convoy that the rains in Port Sudan used to fall in October, but this year they occurred in August for the first time. He noted the increasing rainfall rates and the resulting damage in several states.
The governor called on companies, organizations, and all members of the community to extend a helping hand to those affected, and he praised the efforts of the Cotton Company in supporting the victims.
