Galatasaray Signs Nigerian Striker Osimhen from Napoli

Turkish club Galatasaray has announced the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Italian club Napoli, on Wednesday.

According to the German News Agency, the Turkish club confirmed on its official account on platform “X” that “an agreement has been reached with Napoli to loan Osimhen for one season.”

Galatasaray also revealed that the Nigerian striker will earn a salary of 6 million euros for the 2024-2025 season.

Press reports have also noted that “Osimhen’s loan deal does not include an option for a permanent transfer.”

Napoli still has the option to extend Osimhen’s contract until June 2027, with a new release clause set at 75 million euros.
