Dead and Injured in Israeli Bombing of Various Areas in the Gaza Strip

Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on different areas in the northern and central Gaza Strip early today (Saturday), resulting in the death of a child and injuries to several people. According to the Palestinian “Ma’an” news agency, a missile strike targeted an apartment belonging to the Awadallah family in the Al-Gharbawi building in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in northern Gaza City, leading to the martyrdom of a child and the transfer of several injured individuals to the Baptist Hospital in the city, according to paramedics.
   In central Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, resulting in the “martyrdom of four citizens and the injury of ten others, including children,” according to Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics. The injured were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital in the Al-Nusairat camp for treatment, according to “Ma’an.” Earlier today, the official Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that at least 13 Palestinians were killed, and 15 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting a school sheltering displaced people and a residential building in Gaza. According to WAFA, at least eight of the dead were in tents for displaced people at Halima Al-Saadia School in Jabalia, northern Gaza. The Israeli army stated that it had “conducted a precise strike on terrorists operating inside a command and control center belonging to Hamas… fortified in a complex previously used as the Halima Al-Saadia School in northern Gaza.” Five more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Al-Nusairat camp in central Gaza. According to the United Nations, at least 1.9 million people across the Gaza Strip have been displaced internally, with some displaced more than ten times.
